TigerHype is an independent LSU Football publication. Our goal is to publish accurate, useful coverage while clearly separating verified reporting, analysis, opinion and developing information.

Accuracy and verification

We prioritize primary and authoritative sources whenever possible, including LSU Athletics, conference and NCAA materials, official team communications, verified public records and direct statements. We do not present rumors, screenshots or unsourced social-media claims as established fact.

Attribution and sourcing

When information originates with another outlet, reporter, analyst or public source, TigerHype should identify that source clearly. Original reporting and independently verified facts should be distinguished from information first reported elsewhere.

Breaking news and developing stories

Speed never overrides verification. Developing stories may be updated as new information becomes available. When important facts remain uncertain, the story should say what is confirmed, what is not confirmed and when the article was updated.

Recruiting and transfer portal coverage

Commitments, signings, transfers and roster moves can change quickly. TigerHype distinguishes official announcements from reported interest, predictions and recruiting-service evaluations, and dates rankings or class snapshots when they may become stale.

Analysis and opinion

Analysis and opinion are welcome parts of TigerHype, but they should not be written as if they are verified news. Strong conclusions should be supported by facts, statistics, film observations, historical context or clearly identified reasoning.

Corrections and updates

Material factual errors should be corrected promptly. Significant corrections should be disclosed clearly rather than silently rewriting the record. Routine updates, such as a newly announced kickoff time or roster status, may be incorporated into living pages without a formal correction note.

AI-assisted editorial work

TigerHype may use AI tools to assist with research organization, drafting, editing, formatting, image concepts, SEO and repetitive newsroom workflows. AI output is not treated as a source. Factual claims must still be checked against reliable sources before publication, and automated publishing systems are expected to follow the same standards as human-created coverage.

Independence

TigerHype is independent and is not the official website of LSU Athletics. Editorial judgments should not be influenced by advertisers, sponsors, affiliate relationships or commercial products.
