Did Ole Miss Expose LSU’s Defense — or Was It Just One Bad Night?
LSU entered the Ole Miss game with the nation’s No. 1 total defense through the first two weeks.
Then Trinidad Chambliss threw for 363 yards and two touchdowns as Ole Miss beat LSU 32–24.
The Rebels led 24–7 at halftime before LSU fought back to tie the game in the fourth quarter.
TigerHype take: This is the first real test that made LSU’s defense look vulnerable.
That doesn’t erase what the Tigers did against Clemson or Louisiana Tech.
But Ole Miss gave the rest of the SEC film showing that quarterback mobility, tempo and explosive passes can put serious stress on this defense.
🐯 So what are you buying?
A. LSU still has an elite defense. Ole Miss was one bad night.
or
B. Ole Miss exposed a weakness that other SEC teams will now attack.
And if you’re Blake Baker, what gets fixed first?
