Sam Leavitt Injury vs. McNeese: Should LSU Rest Its Starting QB Next Week?
Leavitt said after the Texas A&M game that he pulled a hamstring in the second quarter but expects to be “just fine.” He still threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns, while backup Landen Clark handled several red-zone snaps and scored twice. TigerHype Staff take: McNeese creates an interesting decision. LSU could use the game to keep Leavitt sharp, but after the shoulder/back issues around Ole Miss and now a hamstring issue, there is a legitimate argument for getting Clark meaningful work and protecting QB1.
If Leavitt is medically cleared but not 100%, do you start him for a quarter, sit him completely, or play him normally?
