Roman Mothershed at Tight End: Is This LSU’s Best Answer Without Trey’Dez Green?
LSU has officially moved 6-foot-5 receiver Roman Mothershed to tight end while Trey’Dez Green is sidelined. TigerHype Staff take: This could be more interesting than simply trying to manufacture another traditional tight end. Kiffin may not be able to replace Green’s complete skill set, but Mothershed could preserve some of the matchup problems Green created by lining up in the slot, moving outside and forcing linebackers to cover space.
Would you try to recreate Trey’Dez Green’s role with Mothershed, or change the offense and lean more heavily on receivers and the running game until Green returns?
