Should LSU Start Landen Clark vs. McNeese and Rest Sam Leavitt?
Sam Leavitt is still dealing with the hamstring injury he played through in LSU’s 35-6 win over Texas A&M. Lane Kiffin has not announced LSU’s starting quarterback for McNeese and has said he is considering resting starters because of the Tigers’ mounting injuries. Landen Clark is Leavitt’s established backup and scored twice on the ground against A&M. Tiger Rag
TigerHype Staff take: I’m struggling to see much upside in asking Leavitt to prove anything Saturday. LSU has seven straight SEC games after this, while Clark getting a full game with the first-team offense could actually tell the staff something useful.
If Leavitt says he can play, are you still sitting him? Or does QB1 need at least a quarter to keep the offense in rhythm?
