LSU had not disclosed a diagnosis, and his travel status for Ole Miss was unresolved at that update. Orgeron’s role is special assistant to recruiting and defense. Which Was More Disrespectful: 52–3 or LSU Mercy-Kneeling Ole Miss at the 1?
In 2011, LSU led Ole Miss 52–3 and reached first-and-goal at the 1 with more than five minutes left. Instead of punching it in again, Zach Mettenberger took four straight knees and LSU turned it over on downs. We revisited the sequence in our TigerHype article.
